The Old Globe today announced the cast and creative team for the Globe's revival of Anna Christie, Eugene O'Neill's masterpiece about the knotty relationship between an old sailor and his estranged daughter. The production will be directed by Daniel Goldstein, who is currently represented on Broadway with the hit revival of Godspell. Anna Christie will run March 10 - April 15, 2012 in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. Preview performances run March 10 - March 14. Cabaret with a View returns to the Jay Pritzker Pavilion on Monday, March 12 at 7:30 p.m. with singer/songwriter Paul Oakley Stovall and Brad Simmons in "The Next Best Thing to Love." Last night, BroadwayWorld reported that E! Online revealed that Spring Awakening's original Wendla, GLEE star Lea Michele, is being courted for her old role in the upcoming film version of the show. Now EW.com has confirmed that she is not infact in talks to star in the project. Michele told EW: 'Spring Awakening is so special to me, as is the character Wendla. We have discussed this as a possibility, and we'll see what happens.'
