Jamie Jones Now to Headline Aurora's A DELICATE BALANCE

Aurora Theatre Company today announced that Bay Area favorite, actress Julia Brothers, who previously appeared in Aurora Theatre Company's hit productions of The First Grade and Salome, has been replaced in the company's upcoming 20th season opener, Edward Albee's A Delicate Balance.

One Acts by Ethan Coen, Woody Allen, Elaine May Heading to Broadway

According to a casting notice, anupcoming Broadway production currently entitled THREE ONE ACTS is curently in the works. The production wood feature pieces by Woddy Allen, Ethan Coen and Elaine May: HONEYMOON HOTEL, TALKING CURE, and GEORGE IS DEAD respectively. The first rehearsal for the project would be held in August, and would open in an unannounced Broadway theatre in September.

LESSER AMERICA Granted Home at Iconic THEATER FOR THE NEW CITY

After working together on the critically acclaimed run of the original play 'Keep Your Baggage With You (at all times)' at Theater for the New City in 2010 (written by Jonathan Blitstein, directed by Daniel Talbott), Daniel Abeles, Jonathan Blitstein, Nate Miller and Laura Ramadei teamed up to launch a new theater company called LESSER AMERICA. Theater For the New City has granted Lesser America a residency affording the group three full-scale productions in its inaugural year, the first residency of its kind at the theater.
