Players' Ring to Premiere HEMINGWAY'S WIFE

Hemingway's Wife, a new musical by Erin Murray Quinlan, will have its world premiere on May 29 at 8 pm at the Players Ring Theater, 105 Marcy Street, Portsmouth, New Hampshire. The show runs for three weekends, Friday and Saturday nights at 8 pm, two Sunday evening performances at 7 pm, ending with a matinee performance on Sunday, June 14, at 3 pm. Tickets are $15 general admission with discounts for members, students, and seniors. The CAPA Summer Movie Series, the longest-running classic film series in America, celebrates its 45th anniversary in 2015 with an impressive assembly of classics, cult favorites, and beloved films. The 2015 series will run June 5-August 9 at the historic Ohio Theatre (39 E. State St.) and will feature 29 films over nine weeks (no films scheduled for the week of the Fourth of July).

Over a decade since the legendary artist drew his final line drawing, he continues to inspire. This spring, Hirschfeld will be celebrated with the publication of a new book and a major exhibition at the New-York Historical Society.
