Fox Valley Repertory presents a one-man show about early onset Parkinson's disease called Side Effects May Include.... Written by former Seinfeld writer Marc Jaffe and Broadway playwright Eric Coble, the show will be performed by Andrew J. Polarity Ensemble Theatre presents the world premiere of Never the Bridesmaid, a sweet, funny, life-affirming comedy by Chicago playwright Bill Jepsen. Directed by award-winning director Richard Shavzin, Never the Bridesmaid runs at the Polarity space at the Josephinum Academy, 1500 N. Bell St. in the Wicker Park neighborhood of Chicago, tonight, February 26 through April 7, 2013. Press night is Thursday, February 28 at 8:00 p.m.

According to the New York Times, Larry Kaye, the lead producer of both Miss Firecracker Contest and Velocity of Autumn has revealed that the Spring 2013 Broadway openings of both have been postponed. The Firecracker postponement had to do with, acccording to Kaye, a scheduling conflict that 'stood in the way of getting our particular dream cast.' In the case of Velocity of Autumn, the show couldn't find 'a suitable theater this season that would be a great fit for this two-person, very intimate play.'
