In conjunction with its upcoming production of Tiger Style!, the Huntington Theatre Company will host a number of special events and post-show conversations. 

One of the most talked about new plays in American theater makes its DC premiere this Fall. Theater J will present Lucas Hnath's critically acclaimed The Christians, November 16 - December 11.

Vietgone, the new play by Qui Nguyen (She Kills Monsters), directed by May Adrales (Luce) is currently in previews in advance of a Tuesday, October 25 opening night at MTC at New York City Center - Stage I (131 West 55th Street). BroadwayWorld has a first look at the cast in action below!

Center Theatre Group received submissions from 76 local theatre companies from North Hollywood to San Pedro, Topanga to Sierra Madre for the inaugural Block Party: Celebrating Los Angeles Theatre at the Kirk Douglas Theatre.  The nationally regarded Fulton Theatre opens its 2016/2017 Ellen Arnold Groff Studio Series with a chilling Victorian thriller in the Tell Studio Theatre. The Ira Levin mystery, Veronica's Room, runs through October 30, with two added performances on Sunday, October 23 and Sunday, October 30 at 6:30 pm.

United Solo Theatre Festival, the world's largest solo theatre festival, is pleased to present HEDY! Producer Scott Rudin today announced that Lucas Hnath's new play, A Doll's House, Part 2, will come to Broadway next spring in a production directed by Tony Award®-winner Sam Gold. A wildly inventive new American play that picks up after Henrik Ibsen's most cherished work concludes, A Doll's House, Part 2 will boast an all-star cast that features three-time Emmy Award-winner and three-time Tony Award®-nominee Laurie Metcalf, Academy Award-winner Chris Cooper, Tony Award®-winner Jayne Houdyshelland two-time Tony Award®-nominee Condola Rashad. Beginning preview performances at Broadway's John Golden Theatre (252 West 45th Street) on Saturday, April 1, 2017, this 16-week engagement will officially open on Thursday, April 27.

Michael Alden Productions presents the New York premiere of NOT THAT JEWISH, written and performed by Emmy Award-winning and Golden Globe nominated writer and comedian Monica Piper (Writer of Roseanne, Mad About You, Rugrats) and directed by Mark Waldrop (Howard Crabtree's When Pigs Fly, Bea Arthur on Broadway: Just Between Friends).

Victory Gardens Theater announces the second extension of its critically-acclaimed production of Hand To God by Robert Askins, directed by Gary Griffin due to overwhelming ticket demand. Hand To God now runs through October 30, 2016, at Victory Gardens Theater, 2433 N. Lincoln Avenue.
