The new Broadway musical An American in Paris is now in previews and just opened last night, April 12, 2015 at the Palace Theatre (Broadway at 47th Street). An American In Paris is directed and choreographed by Christopher Wheeldon. Inspired by the Academy-Award winning film, An American In Paris brings this classic tale to Broadway for the first time with music and lyrics by George Gershwinand Ira Gershwin and a book by Tony nominee and Pulitzer Prize finalist Craig Lucas. Director/Choreographer Luis Salgado won the Best Director Award at the closing ceremony of the 2015 NYC Venus/Adonis Festival. Salgado was chosen out of forty-eight other directors who were part of this year's festival, for his direction of Zuccotti Park, the musical.

My name is Luis Salgado and at the moment I'm very excited to be a nominee for Best Director at the Venus/Adonis Festival for Zuccotti Park, the musical. ON YOUR FEET! will have its Pre-Broadway World Premiere in Chicago at Chicago's Oriental Theatre June 2 - July 5, 2015.

Gloria Estefan & Miami Sound Machine: A Benefit Concert for Viva Broadway will take place on Monday, September 14th at 8:00pm at the Minskoff Theatre, 200 West 45th Street in Manhattan. Tickets will go on sale tomorrow, Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 7:00 a.m.
