The Ogunquit Playhouse is thrilled to be the first regional theatre in the country to produce the Tony Award-winning musical Million Dollar Quartet, on stage August 19 to September 19. With construction of The Guest House at Graceland in full swing along Elvis Presley Blvd., and as thousands of fans gathered at Graceland® in Memphis for the annual Elvis Week celebration, it was announced today that the official opening for the new 450-room, full-service resort hotel will take place October 27-30, 2016, with a four-day, star-studded Grand Opening Celebration. BroadwayWorld has learned that writer and director Randy Johnson (A Night With Janis Joplin -- Broadway and currently at Pasadena Playhouse) has obtained the stage rights to Gayle Wald's biography SHOUT, SISTER, SHOUT!: THE UNTOLD STORY OF ROCK-AND-ROLL TRAILBLAZER ROSETTA THARPE (Beacon Press, 2007). Johnson is currently in discussion with producers and regional theatres to present and produce SHOUT, SISTER, SHOUT! for the 2016/17 season.

Two-time Emmy Award-nominee Mandy Moore will spice up the FANTASY stage by choreographing the show's new opening number. Moore, best known for her unforgettable work and role as a guest judge on the hit television series "So You Think You Can Dance," is a world-class director, choreographer and dancer. She will travel to Las Vegas to teach the FANTASY ladies a new routine set to a mash-up of Little Mix's "Salute" and Jordin Sparks' "I Am Woman."

Tuesday night (Aug. 4, 2015) beloved Las Vegas non-profit, Opportunity Village's Village Blend vocal group joined the cast of the smash-hit musical MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET onstage for a special encore performance at Harrah's Las Vegas. In celebration of the smash-hit musical MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET's 1,000th performance on the Las Vegas Strip this August, local non-profit Opportunity Village's Village Blend vocal group will join the cast onstage for a special encore performance tonight, Aug. 4 at 7 p.m. in the Harrah's Las Vegas Showroom. Members of Village Blend will take the stage for a one-night-only performance of Carl Perkins' legendary tune 'Blue Suede Shoes' alongside the talented cast during the finale.
