Just last night, GLAAD, the nation's lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) media advocacy and anti-defamation organization, hosted GLAAD Manhattan, presented by Bravo, Ketel One and Miller 64 at the Eventi Hotel. GLAAD's annual summer event featured hors d'oeuvres, hosted cocktails, and special performances to celebrate and highlight GLAAD's work to build support for equality. The Night of a Thousand Gowns celebrating the LGBT community - the colorful cross-dressing segment of that community -took place on Saturday, March 31 in New York City. In its twenty-six year history, the Court has donated over a million dollars to worthy LGBT, HIV/AIDS and youth enrichment related causes. This year the Night of a Thousand Gowns raised important funds to benefit PFLAG NYC and New Alternatives. BWW was there to cover this event. Check out the red carpet photos below!

Last night, September 19, Rosie O'Donnell hosted a special event honoring Nancy Coyne, CEO of Serino Coyne, Ruth Ponturo, Teacher/Choreographer and Marva Smalls, EVP of Public Affairs & Chief of Staff to benefit Rosie's Theatre Kids Foundation. The evening featured performances from Rosie's Theater Kids and Aaron Neville, a live auction hosted by Z100's Elvis Duran and Rosie, and more.
