The worlds renown political theater group is holding open auditions for people interested in working with El Teatro Campesino.

Tickets for El Teatro Campesino's 2010 season opener, featuring 'Los Vendidos' and 'Los Olivos Pits' are on-sale now. This will be the first time that 'Los Vendidos' will be performed at the San Juan Bautista Playhouse.

Immediately following the Sunday matinee performances of The Shrunken Head of Pancho Villa, visiting scholars Jorge Huerta, Ph.D., Phil Esparza and Diane Rodriguez will lead three separate panel discussions based on their personal experiences working with Luis Valdez and El Teatro Campesino, and/or their subsequent work in Latino-identified theatre.

The Shrunken Head of Pancho Villa, a comedy written by Luis Valdez, will be performed at the Milagro Theatre May 5 - May 30. The show is directed by Olga Sanchez and is sponsored by El Hispanic News. Admission is $20 - $22 depending on date; $16 for students and seniors any performance. All tickets are $14 for the May 7th preview performance.
