The Las Vegas Philharmonic performs its Season Finale concert on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 7:30 PM in Reynolds Hall at The Smith Center for the Performing Arts. The program will feature the Philharmonic's American German Cultural Exchange Fellowship recipient, German pianist Danae Dorken performing Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 5 in E-Flat Major, Opus 73, "Emperor." In addition, the orchestra will perform Bernstein's Fancy Free: Three Dance Variations and close its 2017 - 2018 concert season with Prokofiev's Symphony No. 5 in B-Flat Major, Opus 100. Music Director Donato Cabrera will host his pre-concert conversation at 6:30 PM in Reynolds Hall for patrons interested in learning more about the music in the evening program.

The Muny announced today that Tony nominees Christopher Sieber and Jennifer Simard will star as the stoically affluent Daddy Warbucks and the deliciously wicked Miss Hannigan, respectively, in the theatre's centennial season production of Annie, July 18 - 25. Tennessee Williams Festival St. Louis' production of "A Streetcar Named Desire" opens at 7:30 p.m., on Thurs., May 10, at the Grandel Theatre. COCA-Center of Creative Arts announced today that 83 community donors stepped up with just over $5.2 million raised to both meet and exceed a $5 million Challenge Gift pledged by the Berges Family Foundation. A $1.5 gift from The Monsanto Fund was the lead gift to the Challenge bringing the total raised for COCA's Create Our Future Campaign to just under $36 million towards a $40 million goal.
