Erich Steinbock, Managing Director of The Carlyle Hotel, announced today the return of resident leading lady, Elaine Stritch, to the Café Carlyle in an all-new show: 'At Home At The Carlyle: Elaine Stritch Singin' Sondheim. . . One Song At A Time.' The strictly limited engagement will play the month of January 2010, at the legendary nightspot, with opening night set for Tuesday, January 5 (through January 30).

Rattlestick Playwrights Theater continues its 15th anniversary season with the world premiere of Blind, by Craig Wright (The Pavilion, Lady). Directed by Lucie Tiberghein (The Pavilion, Geometry of Fire), performances begin Wednesday, February 17th, 2010. Opening night is Thursday, February 25th at 7pm. The show is scheduled to run through Sunday, March 21st, 2010.

Producers Tom Hulce and Ira Pittelman announced the complete Broadway cast of AMERICAN IDIOT today. The production will begin previews on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 and open on Broadway Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at the St. James Theatre (246 West 44 Street).

Second Stage Theatre has announced that Tony Award winners John Lithgow and Jennifer Ehle will star as MR. & MRS. FITCH in the world premiere comedy from Douglas Carter Beane. The production marks Mr. Beane's return to Second Stage Theatre where his critically acclaimed, Tony-nominated play The Little Dog Laughed premiered in 2005. MR. & MRS. FITCH will be directed by Scott Ellis, who also staged the world premiere and Broadway transfer of The Little Dog Laughed. Previews begin at Second Stage Theatre on January 26, 2010; opening night is scheduled for Thursday, February 22.

Actor David Burtka will return to CBS' 'How I Met Your Mother' to reprise the role of Lily's (played by Alyson Hannigan) high school boyfriend, turned stalker. Michael Ausiello of Entertainment Weekly's Ausiello Files filed a report following a visit to the set of the comedy hinting at the episode's plot, 'Spoiler alert: He's still really into her.'
