Today, in celebration of San Francisco Pride, San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus (SFGMC) and Dr. Timothy Seelig, Artistic Director, announced the program for the final concert of the 2015/2016 season - Heartthrobs: Biggest Boy Band Ever on June 24 - 25 at Nourse Theater (275 Hayes Street, San Francisco).

 Producer Mark Cortale has announced the world premiere of "Party in the USA," a brand new show by the internationally acclaimed singing string quartet Well-Strung, and directed by New Orleans' own drag superstar, Jeffery Roberson (aka Varla Jean Merman).

? On the heels of their Billboard Top 10 Classical Crossover album, Well-Strung, the Singing String Quartet, were recently named winners at the 9th Annual OUTmusic Awards for Best Classical Recording/Performance with 'Since U Been Gone (Mozart meets Kelly Clarkson)." The major award, which was announced on January 24th, coincides with the launch of the pop-classical quartet's 2016 tour dates. In addition to the group's current 3-week engagement at The Palm in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, the group returns home to the U.S. with West Coast dates in Palm Springs (March 12), Los Angeles (March 13), Portland (March 15), Seattle (March 16) and then New York at Joe's Pub (April 4th). The Los Angeles LGBT Center has announced a special one-night-only performance by the internationally acclaimed singing string quartet Well-Strung. The four performers, who specialize in pairing classical compositions by Mozart, Beethoven, and Dvo?ak with pop hits by Adele, Britney Spears, and Ke$ha, will make their Renberg Theatre debut on Sunday, March 13 at 7pm.

Well-Strung, the celebrated boy band string quartet, are gleefully following in the footsteps of their predecessors. With A Well-Strung Christmas, the charming foursome gives plenty of reasons for us all to put aside our copies of New Kids on the Block's Merry, Merry Christmas and 'N SYNC's Home For Christmas. They also leave us asking Santa to turn this show into an album in time for Christmas 2016 too.

Well-Strung kicks off the tour of their Christmas Show tonight in New Orleans. After New Orleans, the group will visit Batavia, New York City, Woodstock, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach and Orlando.

Well-Strung, the popular string quartet that is also a boy band, launched their second album POPssical with a CD Release Concert at Feinstein's/54 Below. The show was a reworked version of their cabaret revue titled POPssical, and included new surprises mixed in with the familiar favorites. As always with the gifted group, the guys played their instruments with virtuosic integrity and provided stirring vocals, especially during melodious harmonies.
