DRUMLINE LIVE's versatile group of 39 musicians and dancers brings an explosive energy and athleticism to an eclectic mix of sounds; equally at home with the hottest contemporary hip hop, R&B, classic Motown tunes, and the rousing sounds of the great brass tradition (remember Earth, Wind, and Fire & Tower of Power?) This energetic cast honed its precision and energy with years of training in marching band programs across the southern United States. Created by the music team behind 20th Century Fox's hit movie Drumline, this 2010-2011 US tour follows its extremely successful 70-performance international tour in the 2008-09 season.

The musical group Hanson will perform songs from their new album, 'Shout It Out', at The Fox Theatre in Boulder on October 1, at 9 pm. Tickets will go on sale April 30.

Directed and produced by Patti Knazik and musically directed by Stu Knazik, this musical opens Friday, July 30. Performances run weekends through August 22. Shows are every Friday and Saturday night at 8pm except August 14 when that show is at 2pm. Every Sunday there will be a show at 2pm. There are two special Thursday performances on August 12 and August 19. Tickets are $15 for general admission, $13 for students (18 and under) and seniors (65 and over). Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater announces programming for an encore New York season at BAM's Howard Gilman Opera House from June 10th - 20th, the culmination of a 20-city U.S. Tour celebrating Judith Jamison's 20th year as artistic director.

Tony Award-winning actor John Lloyd Young (Jersey Boys, GLEE) joined Grammy-winning and Tony- and Emmy-nominated songwriter Allee Willis (The Color Purple, Friends) on May 23 to host FOOD FOR THOUGHT, the world premiere exhibition of Young's artwork. Young specializes in Pop Kitsch art, and FOOD FOR THOUGHT spotlighted pieces that play off iconic comfort food and drinks, including mac ‘n' cheese, Good & Plenty®, Grape Crush®, and Hungry-Man® frozen dinners. The event, was a fundraiser for AIDS Project Los Angeles (APLA).
