As a result of a construction-related issue that was part of the renovation of the Emerson Colonial Theatre and unrelated to the production, the pre-Broadway engagement of Moulin Rouge! The Musical has set new engagement dates at the Boston venue.

The pre-Broadway engagement of Moulin Rouge! The Musical, has been extended before performances even begin due to popular demand. Originally scheduled to play from June 27 through August, 5, 2018, the production will now run through August 19, for 16 additional performances. The official opening night is Sunday, July 22.

Complete casting has been announced for Moulin Rouge! The Musical, which begins rehearsals today for the Ambassador Theatre Group (ATG)'s Emerson Colonial Theatre engagement of just 36 performances from June 27, 2018 through August, 5, 2018. Reviving a great theatrical tradition, Boston's crown jewel reopens its doors this summer with the World Premiere engagement of the musical, based on the 2001 20th Century Fox Motion Picture by Baz Luhrmann.

Hennepin Theatre Trust to Welcome Wisconsin-Based Rock Band BODEANS

Hennepin Theatre Trust announced today that the Wisconsin-based rock band BODEANS will perform at the historic Pantages Theatre (710 Hennepin Ave., Minneapolis) on Friday, Dec. 30 at 8 p.m. Celebrating the 30th anniversary of their best-selling album, “Love & Hope & Sex & Dreams,” the group will also perform songs from their soon to be released CD “Lucky Man.” Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, Nov. 18 at 2 p.m. at the State Theatre Box Office (805 Hennepin Ave., Minneapolis), charge-by-phone at (800) 982-2787 and online at HennepinTheatreTrust.org.

Oh, the places you'll go! The Oregon Shakespeare Festival transports audiences to a ghostly Danish castle, dynastic China, and Oz's Emerald City when its outdoor theatre opens the weekend of June 17-19. The Allen Elizabethan Theatre will feature Hamlet, directed by Lisa Peterson; the classic 1970s musical The Wiz, directed by Robert O'Hara; and The Winter's Tale, directed by Desdemona Chiang. The shows will close the weekend of October 14-16.
