Extended through August 20: After a sold-out run during the 2017 Hollywood Fringe Festival, and the 2017 Better Lemons Audience Choice Award winner, A Steady Rain, written by Keith Huff (Mad Men, House of Cards) and directed by premier acting coach John Kirby (The Count of Monte Cristo, Peter Pan, Scream 4, This is Us), continues its run that has audiences on the edge of their seats. A Steady Rain re-opens July 14 at The John Kirby Studio in Hollywood for a three-week run through July 30.

Bay Street Theater has announced a 'Pay What You Can' performance for AS YOU LIKE IT, a comedy by William Shakespeare, directed by Tony Award winner John Doyle, with original music by Stephen Schwartz, on Tuesday, August 8 at 7 pm.

Classic Stage Company, under the leadership of Artistic Director John Doyle and Executive Producer Director Jeff Griffin, announced today that Tony, Emmy and Academy Award-winner Ellen Burstyn will play the role of Jaques in the company's new production of William Shakespeare's As You Like It, directed by Doyle, with music by Stephen Schwartz, beginning Wednesday, September 13 as the first production of CSC's 50th Anniversary Season.

Fox Inclusion today announced that writer Keely MacDonald has been selected as this year's Fox Writers Lab (FWL) Fellow. Chosen from the sixth annual group of FWL finalists, MacDonald has received a script development deal with Fox Broadcasting Company (FOX).

The lab will launch on Thursday, July 6 and will culminate with closed presentations today, July 22 and Sunday, July 23 (presentations by private invitation only).

A wet and wild time was had by all when NBC 'World of Dance' contestant and 'So You Think You Can Dance' winner, Fik-Shun, in collaboration with Bunch O Balloons, surprised unsuspecting party goers with an epic #SplashMob performance at a summer pool party attended by top World of Dance talent.  Taking place in Los Angeles, California, the pool party was attended by over 50 World of Dance performers, including Autumn Miller (Spring Sisters World of Dance), the Miniotics Dance Crew (America's Got Talent Season 11), Hall of Fame Dance Team and Soul Fresh to name a few. The world's first Bunch O Balloons #SplashMob was captured using twelve cameras and more than 5,000 self-tying Bunch O Balloon water balloons and has been shared with World of Dance's five million followers on YouTube and Facebook.

Long-time Disney communications executive and PR agency veteran Joe Quenqua has joined 42West as a Managing Director based in its Los Angeles office. Overseeing teams on both coasts, Joe will expand the company's offerings deeper into the filmed and digital content space as well as live events.
