Last night, March 27, Raven-Symone took over the leading role of Deloris Van Cartier in Broadway's SISTER ACT. She is stepping into the high-heeled boots of Tony and Olivier Award nominee Patina Miller, who gave her final performance on Sunday, March 18. SISTER ACT, which will celebrate its one-year Anniversary on Broadway on April 20, is playing at the Broadway Theater. Broadway Records (www.BroadwayRecords.com) will release the original cast recording of the Broadway musical, LYSISTRATA JONES, featuring music and lyrics by Lewis Flinn and book by Tony Award nominee Douglas Carter Beane.

That's So Raven star Raven-Symoné will join the Broadway cast of SISTER ACT tonight in the leading role of Deloris Van Cartier. Symoné will take over the role from Tony and Olivier Award nominee Parina Miller, who gave her final performance on Sunday, March 18. According to Deadline.com, Broadway veteran Patti Murin has signed on to lead a still untitled CBS pilot from Louis CK and Spike Feresten. As descried by Deadline the comedy series is about 'an ensemble of young people trying to achieve their creative dreams in these tough financial times.' Murin will play a clothing designer.
