OPERA America, the national service organization for opera, is pleased to announce details of Opera Conference 2010: New Realities | New Strategies, to be held in Los Angeles, California from June 9 to 12. Co-hosted by LA Opera, this largest gathering of opera professionals in North America will convene at the Omni Hotel at California Plaza in downtown Los Angeles, across from the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion.

Los Angeles' Reprise Theatre Company today announced it's 2010-2011 season, which features three classic American musicals at UCLA's Freud Playhouse: 'They're Playing Our Song' (September 28 to October 10, 2010), with music by Marvin Hamlisch, lyrics by Carole Bayer Sager and book by Neil Simon, and starring Jason Alexander, the company's Artistic Director; Alan Jay Lerner and Frederick Loewe's 'Gigi' (February 15 to 27, 2011); and Cole Porter's 'Kiss Me, Kate' (May 10 to 22, 2011), with book by Samuel and Bella Spewack.

Glorya Kaufman Presents Dance at the Music Center announces the eighth season of this international dance series. Seven companies representing the United States, Spain, Brazil, the Netherlands, and Cuba, will participate in 32 performances at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion and Ahmanson Theatre, in a season that is the largest and most culturally diverse in the history of the series.
