Frog and Peach Theatre's HAMLET to Play West End Theater, 10/17-11/10

When Lynnea Benson stages 'Hamlet' with Frog and Peach Theatre Company, it'll be as a face-off between Scandinavian cultures. Bloodthirsty old Scandinavia confronts sleek, modern Scandinavia in a beautifully costumed, paranoid thriller that lets 'Hamlet' live up to its reputation as Shakespeare's most suspenseful play. The production will be October 17 to November 10 at West End Theater, 263 West 86th Street.

Julien's Auctions Presents Phyllis Diller Exclusive Property Memorabilia, 9/22

Julien's Auctions, the world's premier celebrity and entertainment memorabilia auction house, announced the exclusive auction of property from the life and career of the first lady of stand-up comedy, Phyllis Diller on Sunday, September 22, 2013. The pop culture icon and comedian was known for decades for her self-deprecating humor. In the 1960s, her fame skyrocketed and she appeared on several of Bob Hope's television specials, USO tours and three movies. Her signature blonde wig, long cigarette holder and loud cackling laugh has yet to be duplicated, giving her a place in comedic history as the very first female trailblazer of her time.

Producers Bill Kenwright, The Really Useful Group, David Mirvish, Troika Entertainment, Warner Bros. & The Nederlander Organization have announced that the first North American tour of the new stage adaptation of THE WIZARD OF OZ will make its L.A. debut at the Hollywood Pantages Theatre for a limited 3 week engagement; today, September 17 - October 6, 2013. Full casting for the tour is now complete.

Charles Shaughnessy to Star in North Shore Music Theatre's LA CAGE AUX FOLLES, 9/24-10/6

International City Theatre bids au revoir to its 2013 season with a sexy, modern French farce, adapted for English-speaking audiences by Robin Hawdon from the original by Marc Camoletti (Boeing-Boeing).
