According to Out.com, Joan Rivers is heading back to Broadway! Michael Musto writes that the funny lady will revive the 1994 play that she wrote and starred in- Sally Marr...and Her Escorts. The play will get a reading at Washington D.C.'s National Theatre this fall, with plans to move to Broadway after.

La Jolla Playhouse announces a new production for its 2014/2015 season: The Darrell Hammond Project, written by Saturday Night Live star Darrell Hammond and Elizabeth Stein and directed by Playhouse Artistic Director Christopher Ashley. Performed by Hammond, this world-premiere, one-man show will run February 6 - March 8, 2015 in the Sheila and Hughes Potiker Theatre.

The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) added song streams to its Gold & Platinum (G&P) Program in 2013 which helped fuel a record-breaking 663 Digital Single Awards - a 25 percent increase in Digital Single Awards year-over-year and the most in G&P history, according to RIAA's year-end certifications tally.
