The 22nd season at New Line Theatre opens with alternative, adult musical theatre with the St. Louis premiere of the outrageous rock musical BLOODY BLOODY ANDREW JACKSON, running tonight, Sept. 27-Oct. 20, 2012. New Line Theatre, 'the bad boy of musical theatre,' has secured the rights to three premieres for its 22nd season of alternative, adult musical theatre -- the outrageous emo rock musical BLOODY BLOODY ANDREW JACKSON, running Sept. 27-Oct. 20, 2012; the powerhouse Pulitzer Prize-winning rock opera NEXT TO NORMAL, running Feb. 28-March 23, 2013; and the hilariously dark, adult musical comedy BUKOWSICAL, running May 30-June 22, 2013.

New York's cabaret community just came together to celebrate the legacy of its late great impresario Donald F. Smith in a free public concert. Donald F. Smith, Executive Director and Founder of The Mabel Mercer Foundation, passed away in March, 2012. He created the New York Cabaret Convention 27 years ago. For many years it was held at Town Hall, a building he was instrumental in preserving as a New York City landmark.

New Line Theater Completes Casting for HIGH FIDELITY

New Line Theatre, 'the Bad Boy of Musical Theatre,' will close its 21st season May31-June 23, 2012, with HIGH FIDELITY, the funny, rowdy, emotional rock musical that garnered positive reviews in New Line's 2008 production, the first production of the show after its Broadway run.

Marissa Mulder Plays the Metropolitan Room, 3/4-7

Marissa Mulder, winner of the 2011 MetroStar Talent Challenge, headlines the Metropolitan Room, 34 West 22nd Street, in a special prime time engagement beginning March 7. The world premiere of "Illusions" plays a total of four consecutive nights, Wednesday through Saturday, March 4, 5, 6, 7, all at 7pm. Opening for Mulder will be her MetroStar co-finalists Fran Leonardis and Stacie Perlman on alternating nights.

KT Sullivan Heads Urban Stages' WINTER RHYTHMS
