Lincoln Center Theater presents Rodgers & Hammerstein's The King and I, led by Kelli O'Hara (as Anna Leonowens) and Ken Watanabe (as the King of Siam), directed by Bartlett Sher, and opening tonight, April 16, 2015 at the Vivian Beaumont Theater (150 West 65 Street).

The national tour of the new musical comedy BULLETS OVER BROADWAY, written by Woody Allen and based on the screenplay by Allen and Douglas McGrath for the 1994 film, will launch in Cleveland, OH at Playhouse Square with performances beginning October 6, 2015.

Roundabout Theatre Company has announced that PS Classics will record the cast album of the critically acclaimed Broadway revival of ON THE TWENTIETH CENTURY on Monday, March 23, 2015. Four Tony Award-winning musicals will be presented in Center Theatre Group's 2015-2016 season at the Ahmanson Theatre of the Music Center of Los Angeles, it was announced today by CTG Artistic Director Michael Ritchie.

Gallagher returned to the show earlier this week, but BroadwayWorld has just learned that he will be out again tonight, March 6, and the matinee tomorrow, March 7. Gallagher is expected to return for the evening performance. Understudy James Moye will perform the role of Oscar Jaffee in his absence.

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Roundabout Theatre Company's Broadway production of On the Twentieth Century will now open on Sunday, March 15, as a result of Peter Gallagher missing a week of performances due to a sinus infection. Gallagher returned to the show yesterday, but BroadwayWorld has just learned that he will be out of both performances today, March 4, and tomorrow. Gallagher is scheduled to return on Friday, March 6. Understudy James Moye will perform the role of Oscar Jaffee in his absence.

By popular demand, Disney's THE LION KING will return to Vancouver for the first time since its triumphant premiere engagement in July 2010, where the production played a sold-out run at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre. This exclusive 4 -week return engagement at Queen Elizabeth Theatre begins Thursday, June 18, 2015 and plays through Sunday, July 12, 2015. Opening night is set for Friday, June 19, 2015 at 7:30pm. Broadway In Chicago has announced that Disney's THE LION KING will return to Chicago by popular demand. This exclusive seven-week return engagement at the Cadillac Palace Theatre (151 W Randolph) begins December 2, 2015 and plays through January 17, 2016.

Theatrical Productions and Broadway Philadelphia announced today that tickets for the long-awaited return engagement of Disney's THE LION KING will go on sale to the public on Friday, February 6 at 10:00 a.m. Philadelphia's most eagerly awaited return will once again leap onto the Academy of Music stage on May 20 for a limited engagement of four weeks through June 14.The press opening night is Thursday, May 21 at 7:30 p.m. Broadway Philadelphia is presented collaboratively by the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts and the Shubert Organization.
