Broadway's 40 theatres aren't the only places to catch performances from your favorite stars! Well after Broadway orchestras begin their overtures, ensemble members take their dance breaks, and performers belt out their eleven o'clock numbers, the party continues at various cabaret venues throughout New York City. Below, BroadwayWorld brings you some cabaret highlights for this week as picked by our theatre editors, including: Natalie Douglas in 'Hello Dolly...The Music of Dolly Parton'; TASTiSKANK: Featuring Kate Reinders and Sarah Litzsinger; Micky Dolenz: A Little Bit Broadway, A Little Bit Rock 'n' Roll; 54 Sings Irving Berlin: There's No Business Like Show Business; and The Cast of Phantom Sings Andrew Lloyd Webber.

As part of the third annual Mass Live Arts Festival, the Artistic Director Ilan Bachrach hereby challenges all art institutions in the Berkshires to face the staff, artists, and distinguished guests of MLA/15 in a Karaoke Death Match. The duel is to be held late night, beginning 10 pm after the main festivities of the MLA Benefit Party, happening from 9:30 pm on Friday, July 10th at the beautiful campus of Bard College at Simon's Rock.

The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre, the Frederick area's only year-round producing theatre, has announced a shake up to its summer schedule of shows.  The current production of the song and dance musical classic, West Side Story, which opened June 12th and was scheduled to run through the end of August, will now play its final performance on Saturday, August 8th.  The earlier closing makes way for the 10th Anniversary special presentation of A Rock-n-Roll Golden Oldies Mystery, which was the show that helped launch Way Off Broadway's interactive murder mystery series, Marquee Mysteries.  So popular was the show, that eleven more interactive mysteries have appeared at Way Off Broadway since, while even more are now produced outside of the theatre, including regularly on the Walkersville Southern Railroad.

As part of the Northeast Builders of Ridgefield, LLC Country Series and xfinity Rock Series, Sam Bush and his killer band perform at The Ridgefield Playhouse on Sunday, July 19, at 8 p.m.
