Rubicon Theatre Artistic Directors KARYL LYNN BURNS and JAMES O'NEIL announced the company's 15th Anniversary Season at a preview event for subscribers, donors and media last earlier this month at the theatre's home in Ventura's Downtown Cultural District. The event was hosted by Rubicon Board President DR. ROZ WARNER and Board of Advisors' Chair/Board Vice-President JEFF SMITH, with onstage appearances by several of the directors, writers and performers for the season.
Halloween doesn't end on October 31. On Saturday, November 3 the supernatural celebration continues with "dia de los muertos"--HARD HAUNTED MANSION PRESENTS: DAY OF THE DEAD on Saturday, November 3 at Los Angeles State Historic Park downtown. HARD Events, producers of the one-day event featuring over 30 acts and an enhanced production like no other HARD event before, have made available today line-ups for the four music areas of the festival: the HARD Stage, Knife Party presents EARSTORM Stage, Moombahton Massive Stage and Red Bull Music Academy Discotheque.
18 MONTHS features a star studded line-up, with guest vocals from the likes of Rihanna, Kelis, Ne-Yo, Florence Welch, Dizzee Rascal, Ellie Goulding, Tinie Tempah, Ayah and Example, as well as collaborations with DJ/producers Nicky Romero and Dillon Francis. It is the follow-up to HARRIS' 2009 #1 album Ready For The Weekend.
Almost 30 acts including Justice (Live), Knife Party, Major Lazer, Zeds Dead, Diplo, Dillon Francis, Kill the Noise, Crookers and many more will descend upon Los Angeles State Historic Park Saturday, November 3 for HARD HAUNTED MANSION PRESENTS: DAY OF THE DEAD. Today, HARD Events, producers of the one-day festival celebrating the Halloween season, have made available the DAY OF THE DEAD official trailer and the second installment in a free mix tape series featuring hip-hop artist Baauer.
