Who is Annie without her red dress? Or Eva with out her balcony? It is the charge of the Broadway designer to transport the audience into the world of a show, whether it be Great Depression-era New York City or outside of the Casa Rosada.
In our new series, Broadway by Design, BroadwayWorld will be shining a spotlight on the stellar designs of this Broadway season, show by show. Today, we continue the series with Scott Pask and Suttirat Anne Larlarb, who acted as scenic and costume designers for Broadway's fresh, new musical, WAITRESS.

FINDING NEVERLAND, the story of how Peter became Pan, celebrated the arrival of its three latest stars following the performance on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre. Three time Tony Award-nominee Marc Kudisch, Sally Ann Triplett, and Tony Award-winner Alfie Boe celebrated with the rest of the company over a slice of Neverland themed cake, courtesy of The Cake Boss. In the lead-up to the April 24th Broadway opening of Waitress at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre, DMI Soundtracks is proud to announce the release of a forthcoming original cast album for the production, with the cast and band hitting the studio in early May. The album will be distributed by Warner-Elektra-Atlantic Corporation.

Tony-nominated Broadway favorite Marc Kudisch will step into the duo roles of Charles Frohman and Captain James Hook in the hit Broadway musical Finding Neverland, the story of how Peter became Pan, beginning Tuesday, April 12. As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Emmy and Golden Globe award winner Kelsey Grammer recently took his final bow as Charles Frohman/Hook in Broadway's Finding Neverland on April 3rd. Grammer returned to the role on January 19th of this year after a brief hiatus. Paul Slade Smith will take over the role temporarily beginning this week.
Sources have told us that Broadway favorite Marc Kusdisch will take on the role next, officially joining the company on April 12.

Emmy and Golden Globe award winner Kelsey Grammer is taking his final bow as Charles Frohman/Hook in Broadway's FINDING NEVERLAND today, April 3rd. Grammer returned to the role on January 19th of this year after a brief hiatus. He originated the role when the production opened on Broadway in March of last year and garnered wide acclaim.
