This summer's most spectacular Hollywood blockbuster will not be found in the movie theater this year but rather at Rockwell: Table & Stage beginning May 23 with For The Record: Zemeckis. Over the past two years the 'For The Record' series has brought the movies to life as never seen before in a stunning 360-degree live theatrical concert experience. For The Record: Zemeckis begins previews Thursday, May 23 and officially opens Friday, May 31, 2013. Weekly performances are Thursday -Sunday at 8:30PM and will run through Saturday, July 20. Stimulate your senses this summer as everything is growing over at Rockwell: Table & Stage with For The Record: Boogie Nights. The space at 1714 N Vermont Ave no longer operates under three distinct names but instead the entire venue will be referred to as Rockwell: Table & Stage and includes a bi-level outdoor dining space as well as a newly remodeled live music performance space. While renovations will continue throughout the summer, "For The Record" co-creators Shane Scheel and Christopher Lloyd Bratten choose to present a show adapted from the works of multiple Academy Award-nominated Los Angeles director Paul Thomas Andersonfor a summer experience that Angelenos will not easily forget. The show has just been extended through August 11, 2012.

Broadway's WONDERLAND played its final performance this Sunday, May 15 at 3pm at the Marquis Theatre in front of a packed house including many Broadway notables. The show played 31 previews and 33 regular performances. WONDERLAND began previews Monday, March 21 and opened Sunday, April 17. The production will play a National tour. As we first reported earlier, at the curtain call the show's love story mixed with real life, as Darren Ritchie, who played Jack the White Knight proposed to his co-star, Janet Dacal, who played Alice. Darren proposed to Janet on stage right after the curtain call with the entire audience in the house. Janet screamed 'I said yes!' In the audience, there were tears of joy mixed with the sadness for the show closing. Now, the first videos are making their way onto YouTube!

Broadway's WONDERLAND is the new musical inspired by the classic fairy tale 'Alice in Wonderland.' Karen Mason, who plays the Queen of Hearts, and three of her ladies in waiting -- Natalie Hill, Morgan James, and Kate Loprest -- perform on the Good Day stage.
