Nashville Symphony Announces Venue and Programming Updates For 2010/11 Season

While repairs continue to the flood-damaged Schermerhorn Symphony Center, the Nashville Symphony has moved swiftly to secure alternate locations for the majority of its fall concerts from the upcoming 2010/11 season.

PBS will air 'Clay Aiken: Tried and True Live!' this summer. Please check local listings for dates and times. PBS describes the broadcast as 'a television special featuring Clay Aiken and guest stars Ruben Studdard and Linda Eder performing great romantic hits of the '50s, '60s and '70s. Clay and his guests are accompanied by a full orchestra in the Big Band tradition.'

Decca released Clay Aiken's fifth studio album, Tried and True, today. The bulk of the album is made up of songs from the 1950s and 1960s that Aiken listened to as a child in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Says Sanborn of DeFrancesco, "Joey knows how to get that sound that's so soulful and yet still has a jazz feel." Joining Sanborn and DeFrancesco will be keyboardist Ricky Peterson and drummer Gene Lake.
