PBS will air 'Clay Aiken: Tried and True Live!' this summer. Please check local listings for dates and times. PBS describes the broadcast as 'a television special featuring Clay Aiken and guest stars Ruben Studdard and Linda Eder performing great romantic hits of the '50s, '60s and '70s. Clay and his guests are accompanied by a full orchestra in the Big Band tradition.'

Decca released Clay Aiken's fifth studio album, Tried and True, today. The bulk of the album is made up of songs from the 1950s and 1960s that Aiken listened to as a child in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Pianist Herbie Hancock, one of jazz music's most celebrated artists, will perform at Schermerhorn Symphony Center on Sunday, August 22, 2010, at 7 p.m. Tickets to the concert are currently available for purchase only to the Nashville Symphony's 2010/11 season ticket holders. Single tickets will be available to the general public beginning July 17, 2010.

At heart Cassandra is a Mississippi girl whose art reflects her deep musical and cultural roots. After studying with Ellis Marsalis in New Orleans, she established her career in New York City. She has since moved back and rediscovered her Mississippi roots. Cassandra makes her return to The Music Hall on the heels of her 2009 Grammy-Award for Best Jazz Vocal Album, Loverly.

Fresh from his 2010 GRAMMY® win for Best Jazz Vocal Album, popular American jazz vocalist Kurt Elling is joining the Nashville Symphony as the final addition to its 2010/11 Adams and Reese Jazz Series. Only Everything features special guests such as Joss Stone and James Taylor alongside jazz veterans like organist Joey DeFrancesco, who will be featured in Sanborn's band at the Blue Note from Feb. 9 - 14. Says Sanborn of DeFrancesco, "Joey knows how to get that sound that's so soulful and yet still has a jazz feel." Joining Sanborn and DeFrancesco will be keyboardist Ricky Peterson and drummer Gene Lake.
