In celebration of the history and scope of Indian dance in America, From the Horse's Mouth will dedicate its next theater/dance performance event to this storied art form, including its early connections to Ruth St. Denis, Ted Shawn, Jack Cole, and the fascinating early Indian dancers in America Balasaraswati, Ragini Devi, Indrani, and many more. Live music will be included in this colorful tribute, curated by Rajika Puri, doyenne of Indian Dance in NYC.

10HL Dance Company Returns to New Brunswick for 5th Season

10 Hairy Legs returns to New Brunswick for its fifth consecutive season at a new location. Tickets for the weeknight show are $25 General Admission/Students at the Door and $20 for Artists, Students in Advance and Groups of 10 or more.  Tickets: 10HL.org. The performance features the New Jersey Premieres of 10HL 2016 Commissions by Doug Varone and Megan Williams, a Preview of a new Commission by New Jersey native Al Blackstone, and a new work choreographed by Artistic Director Randy James.

Dance Now's Fall 2016 DANCE-MOPOLITAN Series Presents Chelsea & Magda, Bryan Strimpel and Shaina Branfman

Commissioned and produced by DANCE NOW, National Intimacy Month is a collaboration between performance duo Chelsea and Magda, choreographer/dancers Bryan Strimpel and Shaina Branfman of B.S. Raritan Valley Community College Main Stage Series Presents THE LION, THE WITCH, AND THE WARDROBE
