59E59 Theaters, with The Directors Company, in association with Chase Mishkin, Barbara & Buddy Freitag, and Invictus Theater Company is presenting MURDER IN THE FIRST, written by Dan Gordon and directed by Michael Parva. MURDER IN THE FIRST began performances on May 25 for a limited engagement through July 1, and celebrated an official opening night on June 6. IRENA'S VOW Offers $25 Same Day Student Ticket Policy

The producers of Irena's Vow, the new play by Dan Gordon, starring four-time Tony nominee, and three-time Drama Desk Award-winner Tovah Feldshuh, and directed by Michael Parva, have established a student ticket policy. Beginning today (the first preview performance), a limited number of front row tickets will be available for purchase at the box office of the Walter Kerr Theatre (219 West 48th Street) for $25.00. Tickets are available the day of the performance when the box office opens and will require a valid student I.D. (2 tickets per I.D., cash only).

Preview performances will begin on Tuesday, March 10, 2009, at the Walter Kerr Theatre (219 West 48th Street), with an opening night set for Sunday, March 29th at 6:30 pm.

Culture Connection Presents ROAR 12/4-12/13

Presented by Culture Connection Theater, ROAR is a story about family, pain, personal sacrifice and the need for emotional fulfillment. Directed by Elaine Molinaro, the play will be performed from December 4-13 at Where Eagles Dare Studios, located at 347 West 36th Street. Ms. Shamieh will be doing a talk-back after the performance on Sunday, December 7th.
