by A.A. Cristi
- Sep 6, 2017
A haunting sound, at once evocative and mysterious, ushers in Petals, the latest album by Elephant Revival. Notes rise and suffuse the silence; are joined by a deep bass drone, a quiet pulse of cello and a percussive tick: daybreak made music.

BWW Review: Reagle Music Theatre's 42nd STREET: The Show Must Go On!
by Nancy Grossman
- Aug 7, 2017
In a bizarre and unfortunate case of life imitating art, Reagle Music Theatre of Greater Boston found itself without its leading man only hours before the curtain going up on their season-ending production of 42nd STREET. Producing Artistic Director Robert J. Eagle announced that the understudy would step into the role and the show opened as scheduled. Rich Allegretto, headliner Rachel York, and the stellar company pulled it together to remind everyone what theater is all about.

The cast includes young actors: Trecey Dory, Malakai Jones, Jayde Kief, Samantha Marino, Kelvin Morales, Jordan Rodriguez, Alexander Sheldon and Clementine Turner.

by BWW
News Desk
- Jan 28, 2017
The newly formed Wallis Youth Theater Company presents its inaugural theater production Word of Mouth-a devised physical theater piece that asks audiences to examine the role words play in creating a culture of fear and division, or a culture of empathy and unity-on January 28 & 29 in the Lovelace Studio Theater at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills. Directed by Madeleine Dahm, Word of Mouth is an experimental work that was born of the youth theater members' reactions to recent political and social events across the world, and their desire to question the normalization of verbal violence.

BWW Review: Mozart's Music Lifts Moonbox Productions' AMADEUS
by Nancy Grossman
- Nov 29, 2016
Moonbox Productions, Director Allison Olivia Choat, and Music Director Dan Rodriguez pay precise attention to the musical framework of Peter Shaffer's AMADEUS, with music performed by the Baroque ensemble Grand Harmonie Orchestra. Matthew Zahnzinger owns the spotlight as Antonio Salieri and newcomer Cody Sloan embodies the boyishness of the prodigy. The cast impresses, but the playwright had a hard time finding an ending he liked, so be prepared for a long night.
