Dan Hicks--widely acknowledged as one of the defining figures in American roots music--passed away today (2/6/16) at age 74 after a two-year battle with cancer at his home in Mill Valley, CA.

NBC Sports Group and Universal Sports Network will present 28 hours of coverage of the 2015 FIS Alpine World Ski Championships in Vail/Beaver Creek, Colo., from Feb. 3-15.
