As popular culture continues to be fractured with the advent of new forms of media and even more forms of delivery, it is good to know that there are still some institutions that you can continue to count on for quality entertainment. The newest DVD release from PBS Distribution brings three hallowed artistic institutions together for just that purpose. Five-time Tony-winner Angela Lansbury, two-time Tony-winner James Earl Jones, and Emmy and Peabody winning series GREAT PERFORMANCES unite for a disarmingly sweet production of Alfred Uhry's Pulitzer-Prize winning play DRIVING MISS DAISY.

 Merged Work Productions (Lead Producers) and Jack Thomas (Executive Producer) announced today that music-world icons and television stars Steven Van Zandt and Paul Shaffer, along with Maureen Van Zandt and Joe Grano (Jersey Boys), have joined the Broadway-bound musical Piece of My Heart: The Bert Berns Story as lead producers.  It was also announced that Mr. Van Zandt will serve as the show's musical director.  Piece of My Heart will open on Broadway in 2016. 

Performer Jim Belushi, along with blues band The Sacred Hearts, will bring high-energy, soulful hits and a lot of laughs to The Orleans Showroom Oct. 31 and Nov. 1.

The Canadian Brass will join the New York Philharmonic Principal Brass Quintet for the 20th season of its annual Holiday Brass concert, Sunday, December 13, 2015, at 3:00 p.m. The performance will feature seasonal favorites from the Baroque to contemporary; the program will be announced at a later date.

The classic films Ghostbusters and Rocky Horror Picture Show will be shown at Hershey Theatre on Saturday, October 24. Ghostbusters will be shown at 7:00 p.m. and Rocky Horror Picture Show will start at 11:59 p.m.

Asked about what's ahead for her in the near future the actress revealed, 'I'm in development on two projects. One is a feature that I will direct, and that's been on my bucket list. One is a Broadway musical that I would be a writer and producer on. Neither of which I'm ready to pitch.'
