The main thing to know about this production is it is very, very funny. Silly, sure; but cheek-achingly funny. From the moment Nicholas Murchie's begins his high-energy rendition of 19th century everyman Sir Philip Bin, Bleak Expectations is a laugh-a-minute tumble through this naturally dramatic era.

Following critical acclaim and huge demand for tickets, Trademark Touring and Watermill Theatre are pleased to announce a UK tour extension for Ian Hislop and Nick Newman's new play, Trial By Laughter. In addition to Newbury, Guildford, Ipswich, Cheltenham and Brighton, the show is now set to visit Malvern, Greater Manchester, Chichester, Glasgow, Richmond, Milton Keynes and Eastbourne in early 2019.

Following the sell-out success of The Wipers Times in the West End and across the country, Ian Hislop and Nick Newman have once again taken inspiration from real life events for their new play Trial by Laughter, based on their critically acclaimed original BBC Radio 4 drama of the same name. The production is a Trademark Touring and Watermill Theatre co-production, playing at The Watermill for six weeks from Thursday 20th September - Saturday 27th October 2018. Following this, it will be heading on a UK tour visiting Guildford, Ipswich, Cheltenham and Brighton, with further venues to be announced.

The cast is announced for the premiere of Ian Hislop and Nick Newman's new satirical play TRIAL BY LAUGHTER, which is inspired by extraordinary real-life events.

The Wipers Times tells the story of an underground magazine, written on the Western Front by soldiers for soldiers, the articles packed with good humour and a touch of irreverence.

Following a sold-out UK tour, The Wipers Times transfers to the West End for a season at the Arts Theatre, with performances from Tuesday 21 March - Saturday 13 May 2017 (Press Night: Monday 27 March at 7:00pm).

The Odyssey Theatre continues its unique two evening festival of short plays performed completely in the dark ("DARK" and "MORE DARK"), combining the best of both evenings into a single performance ("BEYOND DARK - the 'Best of' Theatre in the Dark") for an additional 6 weeks, today, January 5 through February 9. With the audience and actors bathed in complete darkness, the imagination and senses are left to soar.
