The Public Theater hostd the final Public Forum evening of the season, 'Tony Kushner and Oskar Eustis in Conversation,' last night, May 8. In his new play, The Intelligent Homosexual's Guide to Capitalism and Socialism with a Key to the Scriptures, Kushner writes movingly about politics and family in America today-plus unions, real estate and love. Kushner and Eustis discussed these topics and more, with an introduction by special guest host Cynthia Nixon.

As previously reported by BroadwayWorld, Law & Order: Criminal Intent will tackle the troubled Broadway musical SPIDER-MAN: TURN OFF THE DARK in an upcoming episode, and Broadway veteran Matthew Cavenaugh will join previously announced Cynthia Nixon to star in it. Cavenaugh will lay understudy, Brice Calder.

The Gala will be held on Monday, June 20 at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park and will include dinner under the stars, a performance of All's Well That Ends Well, and a cast party immediately following the performance.
