The United Solo Theatre Festival will present 'THE SPEED QUEEN,' based on the novel The Speed Queen by Stewart O'Nan, adapted and performed by Anne Stockton and directed by Austin Pendleton for one performance only on Thursday, November 18th at 8:30 pm. The performance is part of the larger United Solo Theatre Festival presenting the works of 47 solo artists running November 8th through November 11th at Theatre Row. Producers Scott Morfee, Jean Doumanian and Tom Wirtshafter, who presented the critically acclaimed landmark production of Thornton Wilder's Our Town, will next present the New York premiere of the new comedy, Mistakes Were Made, by Craig Wright with direction by Dexter Bullard. The two-character play features Academy Award-nominee Michael Shannon as producer Felix Artifex and Mierka Girten as his assistant Esther, and reunites the creative team of the Off-Broadway smash hit Bug (Bullard, Shannon and Barrow Street). The 16- week limited engagement will begin performances Friday, November 5, 2010 at the Barrow Street Theatre. Opening night is set for Sunday evening, November 14, 2010 at 7:00 p.m.

City Center Square and Urban Culture Project are pleased to announce the upcoming debut of "Panoramic Postcards," a window installation by Lawrence/Kansas City-based artist Judith G. Levy.

Culture Project (Allan Buchman, Artistic Director) will present the world premiere of Imagining Heschel, a new play by Colin Greer, directed by Larry Moss, who was last represented Off-Broadway by his acclaimed production of Syringa Tree. The two-character play will feature actors Richard Dreyfuss and Rinde Eckert. Performances begin at the Cherry Lane Theatre (38 Commerce Street, NYC) on Thursday, November 4th, 2010, and continue through Sunday, November 28th, 2010, for 20 performances only. An official opening night is set for Monday, November 8, 2010.
