NBC announced that William Baldwin ('Dirty Sexy Money,' 'Gossip Girl') will join the cast of the network's returning drama 'Parenthood' (Tuesdays, 10-11 p.m. ET) for a multiple-episode arc.

NBC unfurls its Spring sweeps with a banner full of special episodes along with the broadcast return of 'Friday Night Lights' (May 7, 8-9 p.m. ET) and the live finales of 'The Biggest Loser' (May 25, 8-10 p.m. ET) and 'The Celebrity Apprentice' (two-parter, May 16 and May 23, 9-11 p.m. ET both nights).

NBC has renewed its new mid-season drama 'Parenthood' (Tuesdays, 10-11 p.m. ET) for the 2010-11 season. The announcement was made today by Angela Bromstad, President, Primetime Entertainment, NBC and Universal Media Studios.

'Parenthood' is a one-hour drama inspired by the box-office hit of the same name. This re-imagined and updated Universal Media Studios/Imagine Television production introduces audiences to the very large, very colorful and imperfect Braverman family.

Dick Martin, who co-created and co-hosted Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In - a show which forever changed the face of television - and who championed free speech and satire as staples in American media, died today of respiratory complications, while surrounded by his wife, family, and friends. He was 86 years young.

The cast of 'JOY' features Becca Ayers (Sarah, Plan and Tall) as Elsa, Ben Curtis (of 'Dude, you're gettin' a Dell' fame) as Christian, Harris Doran (Actors' Fund Hair) as Paul, Gavin Esham (Naked Boys Singing) as Corey, Natalie Joy Johnson (Bare: a pop opera) as Kegan, Brian Patacca (The Donkey Show) as Matt/Adam, Christopher Sloan (Insomnia) as Gabriel and Sheridan Wright (The Producers) as Darryl. Gregory Marcel (Funeral Games) serves as the male swing.
