Neil Patrick Harris, once rumored to be a contender to replace David Letterman on THE LATE SHOW, confirmed today to Howard Stern that he was, in fact, initially approached to succeed the late-night host. Harris said CBS' Les Moonves and Nina Tassler also offered him Craig Ferguson's spot in the later show, though he eventually turned both gigs down.

In the time period, “Grimm” tied for the top scripted program on the Big 4 in adults 18-49 and was the top scripted program on those nets in adult 18-34. L+7 Time-Shifting: In originals this season, “Chicago P.D.” is growing by +59% from its L+SD result to L+7 in 18-49 rating (to a 2.66 from a 1.67) and increasing by more than 2.9 million persons in total viewers (9.4 million vs. 6.5 million).

“The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” has delivered a five-week high and a week-to-week gain of +17% in April 28-May 2 ratings results in adults 18-49, allowing Fallon to match the combined rating of CBS's “Late Show with David Letterman” and ABC's “Jimmy Kimmel Live” for the week.
