59E59 Theaters will host the US premiere of CITY STORIES: Tales of Love and Magic in London, written and directed by James Phillips, with original music composed and performed by Rosabella Gregory, at the 2016 Brits Off Broadway festival.

 'The Impossible Dream,' one of the great songs of the American musical theatre, will lift the hearts of audiences with its message of courage and the search for truth as Lakewood Theatre Company concludes its 63rd season on Friday April 29, 2016 with the award-winning musical, Man of La Mancha. The creators of LIZZIE, the hard rock musical that tells the story of Lizzie Borden, America's favorite double axe-murderess and Victorian hometown girl, have announced that rights are now widely available to theaters and schools to produce the show. As BroadwayWorld reported yesterday, Patricia Elliott, who won a Tony Award for her Broadway debut in A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC, has passed away. Her niece, Sally Fay, said Elliott died of cancer on Sunday, December 20 at her home in Manhattan. She was 77.

To life! The Broadway revival of FIDDLER ON THE ROOF just opened Sunday night, December 20 at The Broadway Theatre (1681 Broadway), wrapping up the 2015 Broadway season. FIDDLER ON THE ROOF is directed by Tony Award winner Bartlett Sher, and choreographed by Hofesh Shechter. Producer Douglas Denoff announced today that original Broadway and off-Broadway cast member Arnie Burton will depart the two-time Tony Award winning hilarious hit comedy 39 Steps, following his 1,000th performance as Man #2/Clown #2 on Monday, September 28th. Having originated the role in the original Broadway production, Burton returned for the current engagement at the Union Square Theatre. Cameron Pow (The Lion King) will join the cast on Wednesday, September 30th, taking over for Burton.

New York City Ballet principal dancer and Theatre World Award Winner Megan Fairchild will depart the Broadway revival of ON THE TOWN on August 9 to return to the NYC Ballet. Fairchild will be succeeded by New York City Ballet soloist Georgina Pazcoguin, who will step into the role of 'Ivy Smith' for performances from August 11 - 23. Beginning August 25,Misty Copeland will make her Broadway debut as 'Ivy Smith' for 12 performances only, through September 6.

The two-time Tony Award winning hilarious hit comedy 39 Steps announced today that it will celebrate Alfred Hitchcock's 116th birthday on Thursday, August 13th by inviting the audience to join special post-show festivities, including a custom designed cake by Cake Alchemy . 39 Steps will also celebrate by launching a daily in-person lottery.
