USC Student Jennifer Kranz Wins LA's NEXT GREAT STAGE STAR 2014

Jennifer Kranz, a senior at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles majoring in Theatre and minoring in Musical Theatre, emerged victorious Sunday, February 16th as LA's Next Great Stage Star® 2014 produced and presented by Sterling's Upstairs at The Federal, the most critically acclaimed concert supper club in the greater Los Angeles area.

North Carolina Comedy Arts Festival to Screen THE MUSLIMS ARE COMING, 2/7

n Partnership with the UNC Center for the Study of the American South, Carolina Center for the Study of the Middle East and Muslim Civilizations, UNC's Department of American Studies, and Muslim Life at Duke, the North Carolina Comedy Arts Festival is presenting a screening of the new comedy documentary, The Muslims Are Coming, at 7 p.m. on Friday, February 7. Wells Fargo Center for the Arts rings in the New Year with performances in comedy, cooking, and music in the newly renovated Ruth Finley Person Theater (50 Mark West Springs Road, Santa Rosa). The 2013-2014 season continues with a line-up of renowned comedians, including Colin Quinn's Unconstitutional (January 16), Larry the Cable Guy (January 29) and Kathleen Madigan: Madigan Again (February 15). The star of TV's Restaurant: Impossible will cook up an entertaining evening in Robert Irvine Live! (January 17), while a legend of romance, Engelbert Humperdinck (February 9), and legends of rock, Chicago (February 11), perform just in time for Valentine's Day.
