Dad's Garage Theatre Company is thrilled to announce the appointment of its new artistic director - Kevin Gillese! Gillese comes from our Canadian sister theatre - the critically acclaimed Rapid Fire Theatre in Edmonton, AL, Canada - where he currently serves as artistic director.

Continuing to thrive on the success of 'Whose Line Is It Anyway?' Colin Mochrie and Brad Sherwood, two stars of the Emmy nominated series, will visit Wilmington to present an evening of extraordinary improvisational comedy. The performance is coming to the DuPont Theatre on Sunday, January 17th at 7:00 PM.

On June 29th, 2009, the best of the best of Canada's Theatre scene all gathered together to celebrate the 30th Anniversary Dora Awards. Named after Dora Mavor Moore, the awards are given out annually in five different categories: General Theatre, Indepedent Theatre, Dance, Opera and Theatre for Young Audiences. This year, Agokwe, from Ojibwa artist Waawaate Fobister won a leading six awards.
