 On July 29, the Vail Dance Festival kicks off its 29th year (July 29- August 12) with a season of new collaborations, artist debuts, and world premieres.

Baryshnikov Arts Center (BAC) is pleased to announce the 2017-18 Cage Cunningham Fellow, Pam Tanowitz. The choreographer is the second recipient of BAC's distinguished award established to support artists who embody John Cage and Merce Cunningham's commitment to artistic innovation.

Miami City Ballet will present a world premiere ballet choreographed by Troy Schumacher as part of the opening program of New York City Center's 2017 Fall for Dance Festival on October 2 and 3 at New York City Center (55th Street between 6th & 7th Avenues). The new work has been commissioned by City Center and is a meditation on childhood, set to Francis Poulenc's Concerto for Two Pianos in D Minor and featuring a cast of 14 Miami City Ballet dancers.

The world-renowned Martha Graham Dance Company has announced its New York City Center season, new commissions, studio series, and tour schedule for the 2017-2018 season. The season includes performances at international arts festivals and renowned venues across the United States and in Canada, Germany, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, and Taiwan.

Bay Street Theater's Bay Street Under the Stars series presents FREE concert readings of plays and musicals in Mashashimuet Park every summer. This year, Bay Street will present Kiss Me, Kate with a book by Bella and Sam Spewack and music and lyrics by Cole Porter, on August 25 & 26 at 7pm.

The Old Globe today announced the complete cast and creative team for the first show of its 2017-2018 Season, the world premiere musical Benny & Joon, with book by Kirsten Guenther, music by Nolan Gasser, and lyrics by Mindi Dickstein.

Get ready for a very 'popular' afternoon of gravity-defying Broadway dance, singing, and acting! Music Theatre Philly, named 'Best of Philly' by Philadelphia Magazine, will be sponsoring a Wicked Broadway Master Class featuring Wicked cast member Lauren Haughton. The intensive behind-the-scenes look at one of Broadway's most popular musicals will take place on Thursday, August 24, 2017 at The Rock School (1101 S. Broad Street, Philadelphia).

The 2016 Jacob's Pillow Dance Award Winner, Camille A. Brown, will bring her evening-length work BLACK GIRL: Linguistic Play to the Ted Shawn Theatre this summer, August 9-13.

As previously announced, Writers Theatre, under the leadership of Artistic Director Michael Halberstam and Executive Director Kathryn M. Lipuma, opens its 2017/18 season with the World Premiere of TREVOR the musical.

The Old Globe today announced that due to popular demand, the exciting Globe-commissioned world premiere comedy Ken Ludwig's Robin Hood! has now extended again, through September 10! This is the second and final extension for the hit show, which previously announced a one-week addition through September 3. The production plays in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre, part of the Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. Single tickets start at $45 and are on sale now.
