Miro Magloire's New Chamber Ballet will pay homage to Claude Debussy on this 100th anniversary of the great composer's death with a world premiere by resident choreographer Constantine Baecher, former member of the Royal Danish Ballet, along with Magloire's 'Two Friends,' both set to music by Debussy. Also on the program are recently premiered Magloire works to music by contemporary Finnish composer Kaija Saariaho, April 6 & 7 at 8 PM in City Center Studio 5.

It was announced today by ABT Artistic Director Kevin McKenzie . The new Dorrance work is the first of a trio of works by the choreographer , co - commissioned with Vail Dance Festival , for which Dorrance is an artist - in - residence . The piece d'occasion will be followed up in July 2018 with the premiere of a new work for American Ballet Theatre's first appearance at the Vail Dance Festival .
