Goodman Theatre Presents Broadway-bound Double-bill Of HUGHIE/KRAPP'S LAST TAPE

Goodman Artistic Director Robert Falls, acclaimed Canadian director Jennifer Tarver and celebrated star Brian Dennehy team up again for a Broadway-bound double bill, Hughie/Krapp's Last Tape; January 16- February 21, 2010 in the Goodman's Albert Ivar Theatre. Tickets are $25 - $83 and go on sale Friday, November 13 at GoodmanTheatre.org.

Two-time Tony Award-winner Brian Dennehy has thrilled Chicago audiences in unforgettable productions over the past two decades—Desire Under the Elms, Long Day's Journey into Night, The Iceman Cometh and Death of a Salesman; now, his portrayal of contrasting roles in the double-bill of Hughie by Eugene O'Neill and Krapp's Last Tape by Samuel Beckett is 'sheer theatrical dynamite' (Toronto Star).

Tony Goldwyn, Katie Finneran & Brooks Ashmanskas Join PROMISES, PROMISES

Acclaimed actor/director Tony Goldwyn will star as J.D. Sheldrake, with Tony Award winner Katie Finneran as Marge MacDougall, and Tony award nominee Brooks Ashmanskas as Mr. Dobitch, joining Emmy Award winner Sean Hayes and Tony and Emmy Award winner Kristin Chenoweth in the musical comedy PROMISES, PROMISES at the Broadway Theater (1681 Broadway). Previews will begin Saturday, March 27th, 2010, at 8pm, with an opening night of Sunday, April 25th, 2010. The first-ever Broadway revival of PROMISES, PROMISES is produced by Broadway Across America (John Gore, Thomas B. McGrath, Beth Williams), Craig Zadan, Neil Meron, Candy Spelling, Pat Addiss and The Weinstein Company.

Actress Hallie Foote Discusses Her Portrayal of Her Father's Characters

Since making her off-off-Broadway debut in the play Courtship, Hallie Foote has almost exclusively devoted herself to playing roles in her father's plays. Most recently, Foote starred as Mary Jo in Dividing the Estate, a role for which she received her first Tony nomination.

59E59 Theaters (Elysabeth Kleinhans, Artistic Director; Peter Tear, Executive Producer) welcomes the return of Alan Ayckbourn and the Stephen Joseph Theatre Company (Scarborough) to Brits Off Broadway with the US premiere of MY WONDERFUL DAY, written and directed by Mr. Ayckbourn. MY WONDERFUL DAY begins previews on Wednesday, November 11 for a limited engagement through Sunday, December 13.

Full Casting Announced For Sheffield Season; Simm, Cohu And Sher All To Star

John Simm will make his Sheffield Crucible stage debut as Hamlet in September 2010. The production will reunite him with Sheffield's Associate Director Paul Miller - the two last collaborated on Elling which originated at the Bush Theatre before transferring to the West End. Simm was nominated for an Olivier Award for Best Actor for this role.

ORDINARY DAYS Makes West Coast Debut, 1/3 - 1/24

Ordinary Days, Adam Gwon's charming musical ode to New York, will kick off the new year at South Coast Repertory. Fresh from a successful run at the Roundabout Theatre Company, Ordinary Days will make its West Coast debut Jan. 3-24 on the Julianne Argyros Stage.
