Second BLACKOUT Concert Added to Royal Conservatory's 21C Music Festival

?The first 21C After Hours: Blackout  concert planned for the upcoming 21C Music Festival at The Royal Conservatory, a late-night show on May 27, has already sold out and today Mervon Mehta, Executive Director of Performing Arts, confirmed that a second concert has been added on the same evening at 8pm in Conservatory Theatre.

Soundstreams to Launch Ear Candy Series at The Drake Hotel & The Theatre Centre

Soundstreams is pleased to announce Ear Candy, a new series dedicated to musical exploration and discovery in the undergrounds of Toronto's hottest venues. Featuring two events this season-Electric Messiah at The Drake Hotel on December 7 and 8, and Electric Counterpoint on March 19 at The Theatre Centre-the series invites curious music lovers of all ages to throw off the expectations of the formal concert hall experience and engage with new projects, artists, and presentation formats. Toronto-based turntable artist Cheldon Paterson, aka SlowPitch serves as Resident DJ for both performances.

Hudson Warehouse Presents SHE STOOPS TO CONQUER, Now thru 7/26

Hudson Warehouse, known as 'The Other Free Shakespeare in the Park,' inaugurated its twelfth season with special guest artist, film and stage star, Steve Guttenberg, in its June production of Henry 4.1. The Warehouse continues their season in July with SHE STOOPS TO CONQUER, by Oliver Goldsmith, directed by Ian Harkins.

Hudson Warehouse to Present SHE STOOPS TO CONQUER, 7/2-26

Hudson Warehouse, known as "The Other Free Shakespeare in the Park," inaugurated its twelfth season with special guest artist, film and stage star, Steve Guttenberg, in our June production of Henry 4.1.  The Warehouse continues their season in July with SHE STOOPS TO CONQUER, by Oliver Goldsmith, directed by Ian Harkins. 

York's Developmental Reading Series to Feature THE SLEEPING BEAUTY, COMMANDERS IN CHIEF & More This Month

The York Theatre Company, and its acclaimed Developmental Reading Series, will present three new works: The Sleeping Beauty that has book, music & lyrics by Benjamin P. Wenzelberg, Commanders-In-Chief written by P.J. Barry, and Cheer Wars with book & lyrics by Gordon Leary and music by Karlan Judd at The York Theatre Company at Saint Peter's (619 Lexington Avenue, entrance on East 54th Street, just east of Lexington Avenue). The readings are open to the public with a suggested donation of $5.00.

Tapestry Announces 2013-14 Season Featuring SHELTER
