Alexa Ray Joel, the 28-year-old singer/songwriter and daughter of Billy Joel and Christie Brinkley, is recovering after fainting onstage during a show at Cafe Carlyle, according to The New York Times.

Alexa Ray Joel, while being the daughter of American icons Billy Joel and Christie Brinkley, has managed to forge a distinct path with elements of both parents' careers. Since she was 15, Joel has been writing complete songs and complementing those songs with piano accompaniment, and writing poetry. Newsday has described her music as 'instantlyhummable' and praised its 'carefree braininess.' Recently, Joel was featured in The Gap's 'Back to Blue' ad campaign, performing a cover of Billy Joel's 'Just The Way You Are.' She reveals her unique artistry in a two-week engagement at the legendary Cafe Carlyle, April 1-12.

The 50th Anniversary cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue, along with the identity of the coveted 2014 cover model, will be revealed on “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” THURSDAY FEBRUARY 13 (11:35 p.m., ET/10:35 p.m., CT) on ABC. To celebrate the golden anniversary of the swimsuit franchise, this year will be the first time the Swimsuit cover is revealed on the late night talk show.

NBC and Time Inc. have partnered to present a two-hour TV special celebrating the 50th anniversary of Sports Illustrated's swimsuit franchise — one of the most hotly-anticipated annual fixtures in American pop culture.
