MTV today announced the Backstreet Boys, Bazzi and Bryce Vine, the newest artist to join The Sound Drop by PEPSI®, will perform live from the VMAs red carpet Pre-Show outside of Radio City Music Hall on Monday, August 20th at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT. Actor and host Terrence J., together with radio and TV personality Nessa, will host alongside Paul “Pauly D” Delvecchio and Vinny Guadagnino from “Jersey Shore Family Vacation.” Additionally, supermodel and activist, Winnie Harlow will serve as the red carpet fashion correspondent. MTV today announced nominations across all gender neutral categories for the 2018 “VMAs.” The list includes dozens of artists whose reach and influence have elevated music's relevancy within the cultural conversation. Cardi B received nods in 10 categories, including “Video,” “Song” and “Artist of the Year,” and The Carters secured eight, including “Video of the Year,” “Best Collaboration” and “Best Hip Hop” for their recent hit single “APES**T.” Other top contenders include Childish Gambino, Drake and Bruno Mars. In celebration of the 2018 BET Awards in Los Angeles, Domani Harris, was invited to perform on the BETX Coca-Cola stage on Saturday June 23rd. Domani, a rising rap star and son to hip hop legend T.I., performed alongside a live band new tracks off his recently released project AMYGDALA. Fans rushed to the stage in the Los Angeles Convention Center to enjoy the soulful rap experience that Domani provided. This was Domani's first major performance and proves he's got a bright music career ahead of him.

MTV, together with NAACP Youth & College Division and local youth organizations, will send 17 buses of young people from communities affected by gun violence to D.C. on Saturday for the March For Our Lives. The 17 buses represent the lives lost in the Parkland shooting and the more than 17 young lives lost* to gun violence every day. Walt Disney Records is set to release the digital version of the original motion picture soundtrack to Disney's “A Wrinkle in Time,” from visionary director Ava DuVernay on March 9th as the film opens in theaters nationwide.
