MoMA- The Museum of Modern Art presents Lillian Gish November 26-December 13, 2010 at The Roy and Niuta Titus Theaters

The Colony Theatre Company is thrilled to present an unforgettable evening with an unforgettable man, AN EVENING WITH NORMAN LLOYD, as a one-night-only special event for The Colony Theatre on Sunday, December 5 at 7pm at The Colony Theatre, 555 North Third Street (at Cypress) adjacent to the Burbank Town Center.

Henry Horatio Hobson's three bossy daughters are driving him to drink, and the end result is comedy in the PICT production of Harold Brighouse's 1914 classic, Hobson's Choice.

Ben Harper steals ten thousand dollars. Just before being sent to prison he hides the money in his daughter's doll, setting in motion a thrilling, frightening, and heartfelt story. For sharing Ben's prison cell is Harry Powell, aka The Preacher, who will do anything to get his hands on the stolen money. Anything, including murder. In 1954, Davis Grubb's southern gothic tale THE NIGHT OF THE HUNTER hit the New York Times Best Seller list and stayed there for several weeks. The 1955 film version directed by Charles Laughton (his only time behind the camera) and starring Robert Mitchum and Shelley Winters has gone on to be named one of the 100 greatest films of the 20th Century. Now Stephen Cole (book & lyrics) and Claibe Richardson (music) have adapted Grubb's novel into a musical thriller. Lyric Stage is proud to present this great new American musical, winner of the prestigious Edward Kleban Award, with a full orchestra. Davis Gaines will star as The Preacher (Mitchum) opposite Theatre World Award winner Julie Johnson as Willa Harper (Winters). Cheryl Denson will direct Lyric Stage's production with music direction by Scott A. Eckert. The Outfest Legacy Project, a collaboration between the UCLA Film & Television Archive and Outfest, is proud to announce its 5th Anniversary. "The Outfest Legacy Project is the only program in the world dedicated to saving and protecting LGBT moving images and in just five short years, we have made great strides in addressing the growing crisis of LGBT films and moving image media that are threatened by deterioration and neglect," said Kirsten Schaffer, Executive Director of Outfest.

The Church of the Good Shepherd, in association with The Ruxton Players, is staging the play, Hobson's Choice, by Harold Brighouse, at its location, 1401 Carrollton Avenue, Ruxton, to honor the Church's Centennial.

48 years after Judi Dench first played Titania in the 1962 Royal Shakespeare Company production of 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' directed by Peter Hall, she revisits the role again in a new production of 'Dream', also helmed by Hall, and currently playing at the Rose Theatre in Kingston.

Peter Hall's production of A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM will star Dame Judi Dench, Charles Edwards and more. Dench will play the role of Titania with Edwards taking the role of Oberon. The rest of the cast will include William Chubb, Oliver Chris, Msimisi Dlamini, Richard Keightley, James Laurenson, Ben Mansfield, Reece Ritchie, Susan Salmon, Annabel Scholey, Simon Scott, Sophie Scott, Timothy Speyer, Rachael Stirling, Julian Wadham, Leon Williams, and Tam Williams.
