The 6th Street Playhouse presents "A Christmas Carol" by Charles Dickens / Adaptation by Michael Fontaine

For over 15 years the Maryland Ensemble Theatre and The Fun Company (the MET's family theatre) have delighted audiences with Charles Dickens' classic A Christmas Carol. The MET's annual production at the Weinberg Center for the Arts has become a holiday family tradition in downtown Frederick. This adaptation stays true to Dickens' novel with the spirits of Christmas Past, Present and Future calling on the miserly Ebenezer Scrooge on Christmas Eve. It's a clever and heartwarming tale that continues to thrill audiences of all ages!

A Christmas Carol With Charles Dickens- The ISC holiday favorite returns for its seventh year.

This December Maryland Ensemble Theatre is bringing a holiday classic to the stage, with a twist. What Blazing Saddles did to the western and what Young Frankenstein did to the horror movie, this is what A Christmas Twist does to Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol and the result is the funniest Christmas show of this year's holiday season. A Christmas Twist is an irreverent mash-up of the beloved Charles Dickens' tales A Christmas Carol and Oliver Twist. The stories are tossed together, Little Orphan Annie is thrown into the mix, and Tiny Tim and Oliver are combined into one sickly pick-pocketing boy. The result is a humorous parody with an absurd family of characters that still manage to spread the spirit of the season.

This year, in celebration of the Christmas season, Surfside Players, Cocoa Beach, presents the familiar classic A CHRISTMAS CAROL as a Radio-On-Stage event, adapted by Anthony E. Palermo. The Golden Age of Radio in the 1940's had skilled voice actors performing a show live in the studio before an audience of sponsors and VIP's. In 2010, the patrons of Surfside's playhouse are the VIP's.

The historic Palace Theatre in downtown Manchester, NH continues its 10th annual production of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol, a classic story of Scrooge and Tiny Tim told with festive holiday songs and dance performed by a cast of more than fifty actors.

Anthony Rodriguez is back for a fourth year with his compelling solo performance of the holiday classic, A Christmas Carol. ANW Co-Founders and Co-Artistic Directors Julia Rodriguez-Elliott and Geoff Elliott co-direct this production - which features original music by noted composer Doug Newell - based on Dickens' masterful novel. Bartlett was also the adaptor of A Noise Within's 2008-09 season favorite Oliver Twist. This marks the second time Rodriguez-Elliott and Elliott have co-directed Great Expectations at A Noise Within, the first produced during the 1995-96 season, winning numerous awards.
