CCTC Announces their revival of 'A Chicago Christmas Carol.' In this retelling of the Christmas classic we find Scrooge in the cold mean streets of an early 20th century Chicago. Press Opening November 19th with a gala to follow. Runs Thursday thru Saturday nights at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. Runs until December 19th.

The Garden Theatre, located at 160 West Plant Street in historic Winter Garden, is pleased to announce its third full theatre season, running from October 2010-May 2011. In addition to the five full-length theatrical presentations, the season will be dotted with one-weekend events such as music and dance concerts, as well as movies and special events, which will be announced over the next several months. Ticket prices range from $10-25 and will go on sale to the general public August 1, 2010.

For over 15 years the Maryland Ensemble Theatre and The Fun Company (the MET's family theatre) have delighted audiences with Charles Dickens' classic A Christmas Carol. The MET's annual production at the Weinberg Center for the Arts has become a holiday family tradition in downtown Frederick. New York's 'Best Story Hour' (The Village Voice Best of NY 2010) - returns from an extra-long summer break for an extra-hot winter treat: their second annual reading of Charles Dickens' holiday classic A Christmas Carol. On Thursday, December 16 at 8:00pm host Nasty Canasta (declared by the New York Times to be 'perhaps the loveliest and certainly the nudest Scrooge in history') leads an all-star cast of exhibitionists in an in-the-buff reading of this special version of A Christmas Carol, just as Dickens himself originally performed it - although perhaps a bit more naked.
