The Ford's Theatre 2010-2011 season continues with 'A Christmas Carol' by Charles Dickens and adapted by Michael Wilson. The production will close January 2, 2011.

The American Shakespeare Center has announced its 2010-2011 seasons, a program of 16 productions presented over 52 weeks in 5 separate repertory seasons, offering the largest number of plays per year by Shakespeare and Early Modern playwrights of any theatre in the world.

Hartford Mayor Pedro Segarra will make his Hartford Stage debut as one of the jovial Solicitors in Friday's 2:00 p.m. matinee performance of A Christmas Carol.

Goodman Theatre's perennial holiday classic A Christmas Carol, consistently included among the Midwest's top-tier holiday events, returns for the 33rd season. Renowned Chicago actor John Judd appears for the first time in the legendary role of Ebenezer Scrooge in A Christmas Carol, 'Goodman Theatre's annual Christmas gift to Chicago' (Daily Herald) for more than three decades. Judd leads a cast of 26 this holiday season-including 10 Chicagoland actors also appearing in A Christmas Carol for the first time. Chicago actor/director William Brown returns for the fifth consecutive year to stage the production hailed as 'a joyous present for the entire family'

Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park will celebrate 20 years of a favorite holiday tradition as KeyBank presents Charles Dickens' classic A CHRISTMAS CAROL.

The Guthrie Theater today announced that British theater, television and film actor Daniel Gerroll will play the role of Ebenezer Scrooge in the 2010 production of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol, presented by U.S. Bank.

One heck of a sour Scrooge: Graeme Malcolm leads the cast of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol now playing at McCarter Theatre through December 26.

John Treacy Egan will star as Ebeneezer Scrooge in A SLEEPY HOLLOW CHRISTMAS CAROL. Egan's SCROOGE will take on Washington Irving's characters, when he stars in this enchanting musical which is set in the town of Sleepy Hollow, New York in 1900. A new twist on an old classic, It weaves the magic of the Charles Dickens classic with the delightful characters from Washington Irving's vivid imagination and tells the tale of a Sleepy Hollow businessman, Ebenezer Scrooge, who had no love in his heart for his fellow man, especially at Christmastime.
