BMCC Tribeca Performing Arts Center, the longest operating performance venue in lower Manhattan, proudly presents Bunnicula performing on Sunday, October 27 at 1:30PM. Bunnicula kicks off BMCC Tribeca Performing Arts Center's 2013-2014 Family Theater Season, featuring plays, musicals, puppetry, concerts and dance for all ages.

Transport Group, the Drama Desk and OBIE award-winning theatre company, has announced that its 2013 Gimme A Break! benefit will honor producer Beth Williams on Monday, December 9 at 6:30pm, at the Asia Society and Museum, 725 Park Avenue at 70th Street.

Thrillpeddlers announces their annual Halloween Extravaganza Shocktoberfest 14: Jack the Ripper - An Evening of Horror, Madness, Spanking and Song Commemorating the 125th Anniversary of the Jack The Ripper Murders in London. Thrillpeddlers presents its 4th and final preview performance of Shocktoberfest 14 on Sept. 30, the very date that police received the letter that coined the name 'Jack the Ripper' and the case's double-murder occurred.

Directed by Evan Cabnet (A Kid Like Jake at Lincoln Center Theater,The Performers on Broadway), the production will feature Mark Blum (The Assembled Parties and Gore Vidal's The Best Man on Broadway), Diane Davis (Old Acquaintance on Broadway, Regrets Only at MTC), two-time Obie Award-winner Kathryn Grody (The Marriage of Bette & Boo, Top Girls, A Mom's Life), and Hubert Point-Du Jour (Angels in America and The Brother/Sister Plays Off-Broadway). The Model Apartment runs through November 1 at Primary Stages at 59E59 Theaters. Opening night is Tuesday, October 15 at 7PM.

Award-winning Pantochino Productions Inc, the ridiculously entertaining non-profit theatre company specializing in theatre for family audiences has announced plans for its 2013/14 season which includes three new musicals and the Connecticut premiere of a recent off-Broadway hit. Award-winning Pipeline Theatre Company in association with Judson Arts presents the World Premiere of BYUIOO, a musical with book, music and lyrics by Nate Weida. This folk gospel musical, presented in an entirely made-up language, will be directed by Andrew Neisler (Pipeline's acclaimed hit Clown Bar) featuring a cast of sixteen. Previews begin October 26 at The Gym at Judson with opening slated for October 31.

Primary Stages has announced that Richard Topol (Broadway's The Normal Heart, The Merchant of Venice) will assume the role of Yogi Berra in their World Premiere production of Bronx Bombers, written and directed by Tony Award nominee Eric Simonson (Broadway's Lombardi). Due to artistic differences, Joe Pantoliano, initially announced to play the role of Yogi Berra, will not continue with the production. The production has delayed its first performance to tonight, September 20. Opening night remains scheduled for October 8 at 7pm. Bronx Bombers runs through October 19 at Primary Stages at The Duke on 42nd Street.

Jeffery Roberson, better known on stage and screen as his drag icon alter-ego Varla Jean Merman, will appear at London's Leicester Square Theatre in her hit comedy show "The Book of Merman" September 19 - 21. She is joined on a double-bill by fast-rising Well-Strung, the Singing String Quartet who've just had two recent hit Off-Broadway productions in New York and their first album released this year. Like Varla, they are just off of summer-long runs at Provincetown's prestigious Art House Theatre. The evening is directed by Donna Drake (original cast member of A Chorus Line!) United Solo proudly presents Less Than Rent Theatre's World Premiere of Sean Patrick Monahan's Diva on October 7th and October 23rd at Theatre Row (410 W. 42nd Street). The production will be directed by James Presson (FringeNYC Award Winner for Directing in 2010).
